134 South Street, Thornlands

A coordinated civil-engineering response covering stormwater, water, sewer and traffic for a development application information request.

Location
Thornlands, Queensland
Role
Civil and traffic engineering; RPEQ review and certification
Scale
15-unit multiple-dwelling development
Period
2026
Status
Information-request response complete
Disciplines

  1. Challenge

The development application needed one coordinated response to the council's information-request items on stormwater quantity and quality, water servicing, sewer servicing and access.

  2. Approach

The engineering for the response was prepared, reviewed and certified as one set, bringing the civil and traffic assessments together.

  3. Result

The final report set answered the information request with a coordinated detention and bioretention concept, servicing evidence and an access-separation assessment.

Deliverables

  • Stormwater management plan with supplementary water assessment
  • Certified sewer and water servicing assessments
  • Traffic impact and site-access assessment
  • Concept drawings and calculations
