Tracking of flood restoration works, Isaac region

An ArcGIS-linked tracking system for a $15 million flood-restoration contract across the Isaac Regional Council area: more than 1,500 repair works tracked from crew workpack through quality assurance, test requests, contract compliance and budget reconciliation to weekly and monthly reporting.

The work

The system tracked every repair work through ArcGIS and produced the workpacks crews worked from. It ran the quality-assurance process and all test requests, tracked compliance with the contract and standards, reconciled budget and cost, and generated the weekly and monthly reports.

Its spatial layers mapped each worksite against road reserves, utilities and terrain constraints, and its registers held the inspection and test plans, quality-assurance records and RFIs for every work front.
