SigTDD browser application for traffic signal coordination

A browser tool for corridor time-distance diagrams and traffic-signal coordination, replacing the desktop workflow with a graphical canvas, grid-based signal input, saved plans, accounts and subscriptions.

The work

Signal data is entered on a grid and drawn on a graphical canvas as a corridor time-distance diagram, so offsets can be adjusted and progression checked; plans are saved to an account.

It carries forward the Windows desktop time-distance diagram application first released in 2004.

SigTDD time-distance diagram of an eight-intersection corridor with signal phase bars, northbound and southbound progression bands, and the corridor timing table.
Time-distance diagram for an eight-signal corridor, both directions of travel.
SigTDD diagram of a ten-signal highway corridor with the northbound green wave band running diagonally through every intersection.
A northbound priority plan: one continuous green band through ten signals.
SigTDD close-up of a six-signal corridor with phase start times on each bar and the phase direction menu open in the timing table.
Edit phase timing and direction directly in the timing table.
