Mobilisation and materials logistics for the Ok Tedi tunnel-boring-machine project in Papua New Guinea, from rail and precast sleepers to sea freight to Port Moresby and river transport to site.
The work
Rail for the TBM track system was procured and precast concrete sleepers were produced at the Eagle Farm facility.
Customs clearance, port handling and all import, shipping and logistics documentation were coordinated to keep delivery to site uninterrupted.
